Information We Collect
CVAIMate processes your resume and job description text to generate tailored CV suggestions. During the pilot period, we collect minimal data: user preferences stored in your browser via localStorage, and anonymous usage analytics to improve the product. We do not require account creation or personal information to use the service.
How We Use Your Information
Your CV and job description text are used solely to generate tailored suggestions during your active session. We do not use your content for training AI models. Anonymous usage data helps us understand feature adoption and improve the user experience.
Data Storage
All CV data is processed client-side in your browser. No personal resume data is stored on our servers. User preferences (template choices, dark mode settings) are saved in your browser's localStorage and can be cleared at any time.
Third-Party Services
CVAIMate uses the Claude API by Anthropic for AI-powered features such as CV tailoring, gap analysis, and cover letter generation. Text sent to the API is processed in real-time and is not retained by Anthropic after the request completes, per their data usage policies. We use Google Fonts to serve the Archivo and JetBrains Mono typefaces.
Your Rights
Since we do not store personal data on our servers, there is no personal data to request, modify, or delete. You can clear all locally stored preferences by clearing your browser's localStorage for this site. During the pilot, no tracking cookies are used.
